Simone Tetrault

Simone Tetrault (she/her) is a Project Associate with Advance NYC whose background as a creative producer includes fundraising, grant writing, and institutional management for theatre companies and interdisciplinary collectives in New York, Los Angeles, and the EU. Simone brings communications and project management experience for a diverse range of social justice-driven arts, education, and media organizations, including previous roles with Level Ground, Curated Care, and Abrons Arts Center. In her role at Advance NYC, Simone continues to support not-for-profit institutions in establishing, maintaining, and improving organization-wide operations and strategic partnership initiatives. For Simone, helping to steward mission-driven organizations through critical moments of change is incredibly rewarding.

Simone holds a BFA in Drama from New York University, an MA in International Studies in Media, Power and Difference from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Spain, and certificate in Executive Leadership from Yale School of Management. Alongside her work at Advance NYC, she continues to be a writer, director, and creative producer who tells stories about power, responsibility, and resilience. In her free time, Simone enjoys solving puzzles, learning about quantum physics, and walking on the beach any time of year.
