Laura Curthoys (she/her) is a Project Associate who has led successful fundraising for arts & culture and health & human services organizations across the country. At Advance, Laura is able to lend her expertise to support teams in the development and implementation of fundraising strategies. In her day-to-day, she regularly prepares materials, organizes and analyzes data, helps manage client deliverables, and supports event management. She prides herself on being able to build relationships with clients and stakeholders across various types of nonprofits; her work is currently focused on arts & culture, health & human services, and social justice organizations.
Prior to joining Advance, Laura served as the Director of Development at the Theater of Youth in Buffalo, NY, where she grew individual giving and increased corporate support by over 20%. A graduate of SUNY Buffalo’s Arts Management program, she has gained nonprofit experience in Colorado, Vermont, New Hampshire, and across the state of New York. In her free time, you can find her in the park with a book and her rescue mutt, Penny.
