Kate Wilson

Kate Wilson (she/her) proudly joined the team in 2019 and supports the work of Advance NYC’s nonprofit clients in many areas including individual giving, database management, corporate giving, and board development. Kate also serves on Advance NYC's Client Success team working to develop and refine systems in support of all client engagements. Prior to Advance NYC, Kate worked as a Stage Manager for theatre companies around the country, including Signature Theatre, Forestburgh Playhouse, and Cape Playhouse. She has also worked as a corporate meeting planner for Alcyone Events in New York City.

Kate is passionate about her work with nonprofits and considers it an honor to contribute to the important work of each of her clients. In her time at Advance, she has worked with more than 45 national and local organizations across the fields of arts & culture, advocacy, and social services (with a focus on youth services). Kate holds a BFA in Production Design from Michigan State University and brings a unique and multifaceted background to her development work -- pairing her past theatre, corporate, and events experience with her breadth of Advance NYC client experience and her knack for all things organization and project management.

Kate loves theatre, animals, and the outdoors. She can often be found at one of the city's many incredible shows or walking in the park with her two dogs, Jackson and Jordyn.
